Last Friday our team presented “El Juego del Salmón” to children and families who attended the yearly G-Night (European Night of Researchers) in Vigo.
Along the evening, many games were played but very few salmons (the players) made it to the end of the game, most having trouble surpassing the barriers found on the game board and getting eliminated by dangerous predators and anglers.

We also brought in macroinvertebrates samples along a magnifying glass for everyone to apreciate the larval state of many arthoprods found in nearby rivers.
Be sure to check out “el Juego del Salmón”! You can download it, print it and play along!
