Developed by the Free Flow Lab, “El Juego del Salmón” is an exciting game where salmon (the players) have to follow a river course (the game board) to complete their migration and return to their spanning grounds to complete their life cycle.

Swimming upstream in a river full of dangers, players will be able to construct and demolish barriers, swim faster or slower and will have to avoid predators, anglers and pollution to safely reach the end.

The fastest salmon to reach the spawning grounds wins!

This game is a great way to teach children about river connectivity, freshwater fish & habitats, fragmentation and river restoration. It is really fun to play at all ages!
